The Application In TCN Gateway With VxWorks Embedded OS On MPC860

Nowadays, it is certain that the new generation train will follow the trend of high-speed and automation. As the combination of train control, failure monitor and process of passenger service information, TCN (Train Communication Network) is the key technology in the control system of high-speed electrical train. So there is no doubt that the devices conforming to the international standard of TCN will have a very promising future.This Paper focuses on the development of embedded system,based on the Motorola MPC860T communication processor and embedded real-time operation system VxWorks. This study is of great significance for breaking monopolizing the technology of TCN Gateway abroad and enhancing the country's development in the field of train network.This paper is on the basis of further study MPC860T processor and VxWorks embedded operating system, successfully port VxWorks on the MPC860T processor , namely the customization of Board Support Package.According to the need of the TCN Gateway, this paper has studied the architecture of VxWorks driver, and finished the design of the following driver: 4 high speed serial commucation driver, real-time clock.This paper analyses the multi-task scheduling mechanism and interrupt handle of VxWorks, to guarante the realization of the Real Time Protocol.
