Research And Implementation Of The Communication Between SIP IP-PBX And Other Communications Protocol Applications

Along with the rapid development of the network and computer technology, communications systems depend on computer and network much more. Communications systems require not only the higher availability, but also greater scalability and compatibility to reduce system costs of the development and maintenance. The integration of network communications, telephone communications and e-mail communications become the mainstream in the development direction of communication recently years. The emergence of IP telephony has brought tremendous impact to traditional PBX, a new generation distributed PBX system based on IP technology has more broad application prospects.Based on IP-PBX server which is developed by the CAS Shenyang Computing using the open-source development projects Asterisk as resolution, this thesis introduces SIP and studies the structure and functions of the SIP IP-PBX server deeply, meanwhile MSN protocol is taken as an example to improve the original Asterisk platform. This thesis designs and realizes the MSN protocol stack, furthermore realizes MSN channel on the Asterisk platform based on MSN protocol stack, those ones provide the function of the communication with MSN for PBX system. The function can make the SIP terminal have the capacity of communication with MSN, and provide the key technology for developing the communication between SIP IP-PBX and other IM protocol applications. This thesis performs functional test of the SIP IP-PBX which has the MSN channel, test results show SIP IP-PBX after increasing MSN channel can accomplish the connection of communication between SIP terminal and MSN client.
