The paper is based on the concrete research project and introduces CAN fieldbus as communication in this lighting control system. we adopt computer, control and circuit design advanced technology, which result in the system that has self-contained and ample supervising function, friend interface and excellent ratio performance and price.The paper first give out the overall design of the system. According to the system function request, we design out the destructure of the system and give analysis in theory. The destructure of the CAN network is expounded at the same time.Then the paper take the whole design to three part in expounding. Firstly, beginning with designing the hardware platform, we expound the important part as the AT89S52 master control circuit, the CAN interface circuit, the A/D convert circuit, LED PWM drive circuit by the modular way. Then we draw up the communication parameter and communication protocol of the CAN network. At the last, we embedded the software design in which introduce the CAN fieldbus communication, LED PWM drive, error detect modules on emphasis.This system passes through the repeatedly debugging, has obtained the good effect. As an auxiliary unit to the ship work, it not only may greatly enhance on the ship the work efficiency, simultaneously can provide the certain safety control to the ship.
