ZigBee technology is a rising wireless communication technology with characteristics of short-distance, low complexity, low power consumption, low data rate and low cost etc.Currently, it is still blank that ZigBee technology is applied to wireless communication in large areas of the internal solar lamps system.In the solar lamps system, charging and discharging circuits of the storage battery are hard to voltage. Once charge or discharge is not suitable, the damage will be caused to equipment easily. Therefore, the solar lamps system has defects of high cost and short life-span, which blocks the development of solar lamps seriously.In response to the problems above, the solar lamps autocontrol system based on wireless network is designed and researched. In this system, the perfect combined usage of ZigBee wireless communication module and solar lamps intelligent control terminal realizes on-linemonitoring and control for the storage battery and remote monitoring and control for lamp status. The Formation of ZigBee wireless network in a large area and the design of intelligent control terminal of solar lamps are mainly introduced in this paper.In this paper, Beijing helicomm company's IP-Link 1223 wireless communication modules are used to set up Mesh network topology and complete the application of wireless network in large areas of the solar lamps system. Mesh topology uses the RF broadcast function as well as a set of route inquiries and maintenance commands to update the distributed routing information across the entire network dynamically. Each node in the IP-Link 1223 mesh network is a little router, which is capable of re-assessing its route and providing the most robust, reliable infrastructure for the network. In addition, each IP-Link 1223 configured as a mesh node is capable of monitoring surrounding RF conditions,neighboring node activities,and end-to-end packet error rate statistics to adjust its local routing decisions and select the best routing on the fly.The machine of AVR is used as the intelligent control part to design the solar lamps intelligent control terminal. In this system, two resistors and a potentiometer W1 are used to share in pressure and collect charge and discharge voltage of the storage battery; 0.01ΩKang copper wire as Current sampling resistor is used to generate the sampling voltage and complete the gathering of the storage battery current; The PWM wave form is used to control the conduction and cut-off of the MOS switch and implement the control of charge and discharge of the storage battery; The form of Relay Output is used to realize the control of switch between Solar energy and mains supply. It is innovative that the terminal is used combined with ZigBee wireless network module to upload the collected and control information to the monitoring center through the ZigBee wireless network, which realizes the autocontrol of solar lamps.The system achieves the combination of ZigBee wireless communication module and solar lamps intelligent control terminal, which is the first case in China. Now this system has been applied in the street lamps of Garden Expo and runs well.
