With the rapid development of computer science, multimedia, the theory of image processing, the virtual reality has became the fashion trend in many fields, virtual training is an important aspect of the virtual reality, the research content of this paper was proposed under this background.Based on introducing Multigen-Paradigm Inc's Creator and Vega Prime, this paper used Creator to create the model of centralized control table, then the models were put into the Vega Prime which is the simulation environment to carry out virtual operation of the centralized table. The specification of tasks is as follows.Firstly, this paper analyzed the overall design of the centralized control table. After compared with some popular 3D modeling and simulation tools,. This paper chosen the right tools which needed in the task we occupied.Secondly, this paper analyzed some special technologies which were frequently used in 3D modeling process based on the Creator, then used the removing, unnecessary polygons technology texture mapping technology,Instances technology, level of detail technology .etc to optimized the 3D scenes. By those means, the performances of the overall system was improved significantly, it also achieved the requirement of the real time drawing.Thirdly, because the human-computer interaction is decisive to the virtual operating system's success, so first, this paper introduced Data glove, stereo glasses and other equipments, then gave the theory of how they work and the ways to implement them. Finally, this paper designed and completed a system with scene roaming, collision detection, virtual operation by Vega Prime and the HCI equipment, and discussed some key technologies in the software design like collision detection and scene roaming in detail.
