Data acquisition and storage are very important parts of digital signal processing. Taking the development of Ultra Short Base-line (USBL) Positioning System for the background, hardware architecture of the system is firstly expounded, and then the key technologies in data acquisition on the DSP, PCI driver development and data storage are discussed in detail with data acquisition and storage for clue.First of all, aiming at solving the problems of traditional DSP software development mode, high coupling degree, poor real-time performance and low development efficiency, DSP/BIOS real-time operating system has been introduced in the design of DSP software. Principles and methods of multi-thread programming design using DSP/BIOS are introduced and the application in system's data acquisition and positioning solution is also dissertated. The new system has clear architecture and good portability, which can shorten the development cycle.Secondly, features of TMS320C6416's PCI interface module are introduced. Key technologies in PCI driver development and communications between driver and application have been discussed; the results of test and analysis are described.Finally, the methods of high-speed disk storage in Windows are discussed in-depth, and the way which improves the speed of storage using the technology of Memory-Mapped File (MMF) has been realized.
