The software of sonar information auxiliary system for naval ships is a kind of applied research with an integration of marine engineering, underwater acoustic engineering, navigation and positioning, computer, geographic information system, and other knowledge and technologies. The software is an organic combination of sonar range prediction, ship navigation and electronic chart display. Information of sonar and navigation can be shown in electronic charts in visualization, and the real-time prediction of sonar range is realized by obtaining supplementary information from the data interface or charts, and the results of sonar prediction is displayed in electronic charts, which provide a visual platform for navigation and auxiliary operations of naval ships.The thesis, first of all, theoretically researches and derives sonar range prediction, analyzes sonar parameters, channel parameters and target parameters of theoretical models, derives equations of range prediction of active sonar in noise and in reverberation and passive sonar, and computes some typical examples in different conditions; Secondly, the paper introduces software-related technology and receiving and conversion of navigation data; In succession, the paper analyzes the thinking and functional requirements of the software design. In order to meet the system requirements and establish a good modular program structure, the functions of the software is divided into electronic chart control module, navigation information management module, sonar information management module, database and interface module, interface optimization and print modules, and each functional module is realized from a number of sub-modules. Finally, the entire software is debugged to make sure that it can fulfill all the required functions, and the effect is introduced.On the basis of theoretical research, the software is developed under the platform of Visual C + + 6.0, using Microsoft Foundation Classes combined with MapX technology provided by MapInfo, based on object-oriented program and Open Database Connectivity technology on database management.
