WSN (Wireless Sensor Network) means a large number of cheap sensors are deployed in certain area randomly. An ad hoc network is formed by these wireless sensors to sense objects cooperatively, and the collected information is dealed with in the network to support decisions. Therefore, WSN is widely used in national defence, national security, environment survey, traffic management, manufacture, anti-titerrorism and anti-disaster etc.In most applications of WSN, only when the locations of sensors and objects are known, the acquired information is usefull. IACT (Improved Alternating Combination Trilateration) is a location arthmatic with a low calculation overhead and a high location precision. However, its calculation overhead can be reduced further. In order to reduce the calculation, transform static m to dynamic m. Whereafter, a new method Cycle-Based Alternating Combination Trilateration is proposed to select high-weight triangles, and IACT is improved further based on the new selection method. Compare with IACT, the CBACT (Cycle-Based Alternating Combination Trilateration) has lower calculation overhead and similar precision of location. In the last part, a new method which called SBACT (Side-comparison-Based ACT) is proposed for improved the complication of CBACT.
