With the rapid popularization and development of network technology, the research of applying digital signature technique to ensure secured data transmission becomes important in the field of cryptography, and one of the research hot spots is improve the speed of the digital signature.In this thesis, both symmetric cryptosystem DES and asymmetric cryptosystem ECC are studied. DES is of high speed, high strength and easy to implement, but has difficulties in security key distribution and management. ECC is easy in security key distribution and management, but the encryption is slow. Based on deep analysis on the advantages and disadvantages of both algorithms, research is taken on a hybrid cryptosystem based digital signature algorithm, to fix the encryption speed and security issues.Based on detailed analysis of variety of improvements on ECDSA, a new improved algorithm T-ECDSA is proposed. The inverse calculation is eliminated in digital signature process in T-ECDSA, thus can reduce the computing burden, and improve the overall operation speed. This method requires lower system resources with same security level provided. A hybrid algorithm named as H-ECDSA combining DES and ECC is put forward, which applies DEC for the expressed data encryption, applies DES for the session key encryption, and applies T-ECDSA to digital summary of unencryptedtext to realize digital signatures. When T-ECDSA is applied, both the encryption and decryption speed problem and the security key distribution problem are effectively solved, and the safety of data communication is enhanced.Test results show that T-ECDSA improves the signature speed, saves system resources and ensures the security of data transmission. In E-teaching platform, H-ECDSA is applied. The hybrid digital signature algorithm can transmit data quickly and safely, guarantee the authenticity and security of data transmitted. The research of T-ECDSA and H-ECDSA is of practical value, and can also be taken as reference in further theoretical research.
