Wireless Sensor network(WSN),which is made by the convergence of sensor, embedded computation, networks and wireless communication technologies, is a novel technology about acquiring and processing information. It is a late-model wireless networks of infrastructureless network and can be used for testing, sensing, collecting and processing information of monitored objects. WSN is a new research area of computer science and technology and has a wide application future. Both academia and industries are very interested in it.Designing routing protocol of WSN is the main part of this dissertation. The numbers of sensor node in WSN are numerous and single node is extraordinarily limited in resource. The all-important aim of designing routing protocol of WSN is to reduce the overall energy dissipated in the network and to maximize the network lifetime. The author analyzed and compared some routing protocols that proposed by oversea researcher and assimilated excellence idea among them and designed a new routing protocol of WSN--Based on Dynamic Tree Routing Protocol in Wireless Sensor Networks (DTRP).DTRP is a negotiation based hierarchical routing protocol. The operation of DTRP is divided into rounds and each round is separated into three phases: setup phase, dynamic rout tree phase and transmit phase. After a certain time, the network enters another round. In order to gain a higher throughput in a lower energy consume, we use certain strategy to divide network into clusters dynamically and rotate CHs. The results which simulated on the ns2 show that DTRP achieves its design goal.
