Software Of Automatic Test System Development For Specified Computer

As modern science keeps on progressing, electronic equipments in every domain have become more and more complex. In order to have these equipments working with good performance and high reliability, they must be tested before leaving factory. But, the more complex the equipments are, the more complex the testing for them is. Traditional testing by handwork is less and less used because of low efficiency, long testing period and not precise enough, it is no longer fit for testing these equipments. Automated Test technology has rose up in this condition.This thesis comes from software development used in an Automatic Test System (ATS) for specified computer, it is the Ground Support Equipment (GSE) for the computer. This ATS is mainly used to test the computer inside ground and for its check and accept testing, to judge whether it works as designed and the hardware is in good condition. The ATS can be also used as testing equipment during the computer producing process.After a brief introduction to the ATS hardware structure, the article designed the ATS software system configuration, then optimized and modeling with 00 (Object Oriented) idea, use UML to describe the model. While ensured that there are no problems in designing and modeling, the system has been realized under C++ Builder 5.0 programming environment. At last, the plan for testing the software was written , and testing has been finished, the whole system was delivered to use.
