The Research On The Information Grid Application Technology

Based on the research of the Information Grid application technology, an application in the field of Communication Network Management is accomplished. There are mainly three parts in this thesis:Firstly, the concept of the Information Grid,the Grid,the Open Grid Service Architecture and the Globus Toolkit are introduced. And some of the key technologies of the Gird application are discussed.Secondly, a schema of Grid Technology applying in Communication Network Management is raised in this thesis, considered of the characteristic of the Grid. Users with permission can use browser or other application program to access the Communication Network Management Grid Service via Portal.And finally, an extension of the schema is advanced. The extension is about the policy. With the extension be completed, the schema can be more service oriented. The only thing the users need to do is to focus on their own demand and give missions to the service which the schema provides, the exact operations of the Communication Network can be done by the service to fulfill user's missions.
