Research On Detection System Of Cigarette Case Based On Machine Vision

The Detection System of Cigarette Case is a special device, which is used to detect and remove the unqualified cigarette-case on-line. This system is an auto-detection which is designed and realized by applying optical, electric, mechanic, computer, image processing technology. Its usage has greatly enhanced the degree of automation of product line, debased the labor intensity, and improved the work environment. Therefore, this system has the broad application prospect.The system grabs digital image of cigarette-case from the product line with the line scan CCD camera based on machine vision. And the digital image is transmitted to the image-processing unit. Computer controls the high-speed pneumatic valve by the process result. Choose the hardware such as CCD, lamp-house and image acquisition card. Design the installation of camera and CCD. Realize the software of image processing. Research on image processing such as character statistic, Templates-Matching, Picture-Revolve, Hough transform. Improve the image processing arithmetic and the system efficiency. Last, introduce the installation and debugging, including modeling of software, debugging of CCD and lamp-house. Summarize the experience of installation and debugging.
