After the nation puts forward the topic of economizing on energy and environmental protection, the development of the LED products gets to develop strongly. The city bright project promotes the designing and development of the large and colorized screen and makes it have very large development space. Aimed at some problems that currently, the control system of the local colorized screen doesn't have good compatibility and expansibility, it puts forward the research of this topic.This text introduces the designing research process of the control system of the LED colorized screen. This control system adopts DMX512 protocol which is the most in common use and has the best compatibility in the light control area as the serial communication of this control system. This control system designs a communication procedure of the top and bottom MCU under the C environment and makes the communication of the top and bottom MCU normally. The bottom MCU adopts the serial exportation, expands the I/O of MCU in the way of serial link of the shift register and make the MCU be able to drive several LED pels. Aimed at the result which is attained from the system in physically applied, the showing mold makes a corresponding improvement on the transmission of data conversion form. Utilizes PWM in realizes the light brightness and in the RGB proportionate mix demonstration to display the images depth reached 16. It guarantees a stable, continuous, gradual effect of the image.The text describes the entire system of debugging process in detail, and elaborates the problems encountered and improved methods in the process of the communication mold and display mold's debugging. It can give the colleague who meets to the same question refers and uses for reference. In mean time, it proposes the system's several development directions in the article's summary and the forecast part which next step may enable this control system in the actual utilization to have the usability and the versatility.
