With the improvement of people's living environment and standard, smart house has become a major tendency of the current social development. Smart house system using network internal connects all kinds of communication equipments, domestic appliance and family security equipment to intelligent control system which performed remote or concentrated house management and monitor. The research on smart house system becomes a hot field in recent years. In this paper, a Home Intelligent management platform, which combines home applications, burglary protection system and hydroelectric system organicly, is established by using embedded system combined with GPRS technology and RS485 bus technique to realize intelligent management of homeapplications and other home systems, and based on the platform, SMS can be used to realize remote control of the home subsystem.The system in the thesis is divided into two parts: Home Intelligent controller modular and home subsystem modular. In Home Intelligent controller modular which is also the core of the system, the intelligent management of home subsystem and wireless communication of GPRS modular are accomplished. In home subsystem modular, some commonly-used functions are realized based on single chip microcomputer, such as infrared control of home application, temperature testing, electronic entrance guard system and control of switching signals of home equipment. The Home Intelligent controller is connected home subsystem modular with RS485 bus, so as to monitor the home subsystem in real time.First in the thesis, the background and developing tendency of Home Intelligence system are introduced and the essential characteristics and functions are discussed and on the basis of which, the scheme of Home Intelligent control system is presented. Then, the design of hardware and software of the system are discussed in detail. The design of hardware of Home Intelligent controller modular is based on the ARM9 FS2410 core boards, which refer to the ARM9 ST2410 development boards. The circuit design of power supply unit, keyboard interface, external interface of GPRS modular, serial port interface, convert of RS485 and LCD& touch screen interface is completed. And the schematic diagrams and PCBs of them are accomplished. Then, a development board of a wireless Home Intelligent controller based on GPRS technology and embedded system is established. In the design of hardware of home subsystem, the schematic diagrams and PCBs of home subsystem, which consists of infrared control of home application subsystem, temperature testing subsystem, electronic entrance guard subsystem and control of switching signals of home equipment subsystem, are also accomplished. And the software design includes software design for Home Intelligent controller modular, home subsyetem modular software design and protocol and communication process of RS485.At last, a sum-up and presumption of latter work are presented.
