This dissertation studies the algorithm of single observer-passive location based on the parameter of PDRC.With the developping of anti-radiation technology, active detection systems have encountered more and more threaten in modern electronic warfare. So the research the on passive location system, only using electromagnetic wave emitted by the target, has become the hotspot at home and abroad. First, as the basis of location, theoretical algorithm for direction finding of arrival signal with the phase interferometer is discussed. After further studying the models of single-baseline,double-baseline and multi-baseline, the problem of unwrapping phase ambiguity is emphatically discussed, present a fast unwrapping phase ambiguity algorithm of multi-baseline model, the algorithm has low computation burden. In chapter 3 and chapter 4, depending on the application background, the 2D and 3D location models are built, the method of how to extract the target's position information by the parameter of PDRC is discussed, and also analyzing the system observability and parameters'measurement accuracy affecting to the location accuracy, then the concept of time slice is introduced to compare the performance between the single-time location and multi-times location methods. For the accuracy of two parameters, digital phase difference and phase difference rate of change, directly affects the performance in passive location using PDRC, the paper particularly analyses the extracting methods. Two algorithms of phase distinguishing in time domain and in frequency domain are introduced, and the method of extracting PDRC is also given. Combined with multi-baseline direction finding algorithm, fast unwrapping phase ambiguity algorithm, and passive location algorithm based on the parameter of PDRC, the synthesis simulation of the algorithms related is presented based on the 2D model to support the conclusion that the algorithm in frequency domain perfoRMS better in the passive location system when the SNR is low.
