With the rapid development of the information technology, a series of revolutionary changes have taken place for modern wars in terms of weapon equipments, war forms, war field environments and operation methods, which have enhanced the army's ability to handle information wars and network wars to an unprecedented level. The shaping of the information-based war molds has resulted in the drastic increase of the information flow; and the quick up-dating of the high-tech weapons and equipments requires that the soldiers should continually update their knowledge, which brings forward a rigorous challenge to the education and training of the armies.The traditional education and training system and its evaluation molds are kind of blocking out and simplex, which is not adapt to the need of the high-tech army training. Meanwhile, the remote on-line education, which is based on the computer network, exposes the soldiers to a better environment to study for its advantages of democratization, life-long study, diversification and individualism. The remote on-line education provides abundant information resources to the soldiers, which can promote their all-rounded qualities, and meanwhile serves as the foundation to win high-tech local wars.The construction scale of our information network has been enlarged and systemized, which has enriched the education resources of the army, and what's more, has increased the flexibility of the teaching content and the teaching style. Therefore, it's a requirement that we should positively adjust to the development of the information network; take advantage of the resources and technologies on the network; bring the network under the service of the education and training of the army; and carry out beneficial explorations to reinforce the soldiers'making of stratocracy, science and culture, body and mentality and their abilities to explore and innovate.Within the existential network, the training evaluation system has realized its mold of"thin clients"on the basis of B/S network structure. The training evaluation system can centralize the maintenance and administration of the resources and application programs effectively, and it has realized the application of multi-platforms, which makes it easy to administrate, maintain and expand. By adopting the programming methods of ASP and C++, the training evaluation system employs the SQL Server as its database carrier; the encapsulation, succession and diversification of its object-oriented programming have increased the multiplexing and readability of the code and accelerated the developing efficiency of the programs. The training evaluation system constructs a information platform on which all kinds of on-line training, evaluation, supervision and administration can be carried out for the communication specialty. The whole system is administrated by the Web server. Users send requirements to the Server by means of the HTTP protocol of the explorer and then receive and display the information provided by the Server. When the Server runs the script, SQL commands and standardizes the HTML code, and by means of the ODSC driver, connects itself to the ODSC-supportive database to store and read network databases, which has a wide application.This working paper mainly completes the following tasks.(1)The scheme of the system structure.At the lowest layer is the Windows 2000 Server of the network operation system. At the second layer is the database system. The third is the database interface layer which collects the data information to each interface system by means of the application server. The fourth layer is the serving layer which exchanges information with the application server by means of ASP, and meanwhile exchanges information with HTTP and the Browser. The fifth is the user layer which provides services to terminal users, and exchanges information with the system by means of the user page.(2)This training and evaluation system realizes the remote interaction teaching, automatic test paper organizing, on-line testing, automatic grading, results administration, statistics analysis, user administration, subjects administration, item pool administration, on-line answering, presence administration, automatic check, supervision and assessment.This training and evaluation system controls the user's authority by means of the server, the setting-up of the database, and the designing of the program, thus enhancing the security of the system.On the basis of modern testing theories, this training and evaluation system adopts the random selection method and the retrospective cut-and-try method to generate a test paper, thus making the randomly generated test papers rational. And in some degree, the automatic organization of test papers has been made intellectual and scientific.On the basis of classical testing theories, this training and evaluation system adopts the potential tendency theory and adjusts the difficulty degree of the test paper in accordance with the discrimination of each test item. As more tests are carried out, the difficulty degree tends to be more steady and objective, thus realizing its self-adjustment.(3)This training and evaluation system can realize the automatic test, supervision and assessment of the training outcome. The system can collect and evaluate the overall information and data of the soldiers involved in the training by means of the network system, and then provide valuable feedbacks. Then the system will statistically analyze the index of the educational measurement. By referring to the measurement index, we would find out the problems, give feedbacks to the soldiers evaluated, and then revise the training plan to improve the training effect.The designing of the system not only satisfies the basic training and evaluation function, but also contributes a lot of research work to enhance its safety, stability, reliability and convenience. The system is equipped with the following characteristics.It's advanced. The system is constructed on the basis of the B/S mold. By adopting the Internet protocol and the Web technology and other advanced exploration methods, the system constructs the on-line testing system for fundamental computer courses. Furthermore, the mechanism of IP protocol is used in the system, therefore, the adjacent users take different test papers. The test methods of subject items are also explored and practices in the system, therefore, we can say the system is relatively advanced.It's economic. The designing of this system is built on the basis of B/S of the Web, and it truly realizes the"thin clients"mold and user terminal zero configuration by combining the database of the B/S structure, thus releasing the system maintenance work for the user terminal, and making the system maintenance work accomplished at the Server terminal.It's reliable.This system adopts Windows Server 2000 as its network operating system, SQL Server as its database, and IIS as its Web Server( ASP is involved). Therefore, the security protection system and the database security system are the security systems adopted by the system. And the system employs the application program of the ASP.NET script development Server. The security measure adopted by the ASP.NET security system is the same one adopted by this present system while the security measure of ASP.NET can be considered from the perspective of the security function of IIS itself and the ASP.NET programming.It's irrelevant to the platform.The user's demand for hardware and software has been minimized by the system. What's more, the user terminal does not need to pay for the maintenance of the system, thus release the burden of the system administrator. The user terminal only needs to install an IE5.0 explorer, then they can take an on-line test with no need to install an extraordinary software.It can be expanded.The administrators can add and delete the items in the item pool in accordance with their demands, thus building an item pool more in accordance with their practical needs. By revising the item pool accordingly, the system can completely accomplish the evaluation and training task for each specialty.It's interface-friendly and easy to operate.The design and flow of the whole system is clear, and the interface guidelines are specific, which is convenient for human-machine interaction and for our use.The function of the system is all-rounded and the system is easy to operate. Thus the system can be popularized and applied among soldiers with different specialties and education backgrounds.
