The rapid development of the computer-centered internet and multimedia technologies is fundamentally changing our ways of work, communion and life. In the meanwhile, it's deeply influencing modern education: on one hand, it requires new demand for education; on the other hand, it injects into modern education with vitality.In the paper, the author analysis the development and status quo of modern distance education at home and abroad, deep investigate the pattern of modern distance education. Combined the actual demand, the author presented a framework of modern distance education which used distributed architecture for data management and DirectShow streaming media technology for data processing. This paper studies the followings:Aim at basic principle and structure of streaming media, this paper presents a scheme of long-distance education visualization teaching, using C/S (Client/Server) architecture as the system mode; on the basis of deep researching of DirectShow technology, the author proposed the software design pattern based on DirectShow frame.After deep study on distributed architecture, the author developed and managed teaching resources using MIDAS middleware which is provided by Borland Company. By analyzing network teaching resource library functions, gave the general principles of the teaching resources construction, explored the storage mode of teaching resources in the computer, and designed the structure of the network teaching resources.As traditional papers can't roundly and objectively examine the students, the author deep researched on intelligent test paper composition and established a mathematical model, which belongs to multi-objective optimization problem of discrete areas. The author proposed a new comprehensive evaluation method of test paper goals, and commendably solved it using Ant Colony Optimization Algorithm——a new bionic optimization algorithm.In order to better judge of the students'learning effect,the paper presented a fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to evaluate the quality of learning, and established a fuzzy comprehensive evaluation and quality evaluation model which made students'learning status is always in control of teachers, so the teacher can improve teaching methods and adjust the teaching resource.
