The forecourt devices such as dispenser in our gas stations are provided by many manufacturers. Each of them has their own protocols and interfaces which makes the management of gas stations inefficient. This paper explored a sort of embedded forecourt control scheme to make the gas stations achieve real-time network management more easily.We chose embedded-based intelligent server UC-7420 to build the forecourt controller (FCC). The forecourt devices and FCC connected through field bus. FCC, POS and BOS were connected to Ethernet. The forecourt devices were controlled by BOS and POS through FCC. The BOS were connected with upper management system via the Internet. This paper completed the following works.â‘ Completed the design of FCC's framework.â‘¡Completed the module design of IFSF over TCP/IP and the specific program design.â‘¢Completed the module design of conversion from dispenser protocol to IFSF protocol and the specific programe design.â‘£Completed the design of management system based on Web and the specific program design.The dispenser and POS were simulated by C++ to test the performance of FCC. The results of the practical test showed that POS could manage the forecourt devices through FCC in real-time, the scheme is high in security grade and makes the station system be easy to connect with upper management system. It can achieve the integrating monitoring and control in gas stations. Similar system can be designed according to the above scheme based on different environments in other industrial control systems which have requirements of real-time performance, high antijam and complex working environment.The chapter arrangement of the paper is as follows: chapter 1 introduced the background and signification of the project, analyzed the developing trend; chapter 2 discussed the framework of the FCC's hardware and software; chapter 3 analyzed the IFSF protocol and designed the realization of IFSF over TCP/IP; chapter 4 analyzed the dispenser protocol and designed the module of conversion from dispenser protocol to IFSF; chapter 5 designed the station management system based on Web; chapter 6 described the method and the result of the system testing; chapter 7 made a conclusion of the paper and brought out the forward research work in future. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Gas-station, forecourt controller, embedded Web, IFSF, protocol conversion | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
