With the fast development of modern information technology and improvement of people's lives, the researches and applications of video processing, especially real time image processing catch great interests from all over the world. In recent years, the development of DSP technology has put the theory achievement of digital signal processing field into practical application systems and pushed the process of new theory and application. It plays an important role in the field of video processing. At the same time, the embedded system has been applied more in the field of network, communication and multimedia.The dissertation is based on our lab's researches and applications in the field of embedded system, H.264, image code, DSP technology. Firstly, the dissertation analyzes the new development in the fields of embedded system, DSP technology and video processing system. Then, it introduces an embedded video processing system, which based on DSP and ARM(S3C2410).The system integrate the high performance digital signal processor,TMS320DM642 of TI, and ARM processor, which has high performance in communication and real-time controlling. It provides a new solution to realize some complex algorithm in the field of real-time embedded system.First, the dissertation introduces the relative technology and criterion, including the ARM in the controlling part and the H.264 coding algorithms in the processing part. The overall framework and system design have been presented. The system has been divided into the controlling part, the processing part and the communication which between the previous. The controlling part consists of the smallest system, LCD & touch screen and matrix keyboard. The Linux operating system has been transplanted on ARM and peripheral device drivers have been installed. The processing part includes the video input & output module, the storage module and the network transmission module.T264 has been transplanted on DM642, which is based on baseline. Video signal gathering and demonstration program and processing process have been added to BIOS. The HPI16 mode has been used for the communication between controlling and processing. Finally, the effect and performance of the system have been tested and analyzed.On the end, the dissertation summarizes the achievement and deficiency of the research. The new ideas of further research and improvement in this system have been presented. The Embedded is the mainstream of the future development, and will have broader application prospect with the further improvement of this system. |
