Micro-reducer, a new type of mechanical and electrical product which mainly targets at the market of the Europe and the United States, is developed rapidly in recent years and wins an increasing demand from the mainland. Micro-reducer and its testing products have an adequate development overseas while they remain a blank domestically. With the continuous development of micro-reducer and its increasing demand in the mainland, it is particularly important to design a quality micro-reducer equipment with good cost performance to replace the imported products.In this thesis, the virtual instrument is applied to design a set of mechanical test system of the micro-reducer to inspect the mechanical efficiency, vibration and electrical parameters of the micro-reducer. It has the characteristics of friendly interface, easy operation, convenient use and good cost performance, which cannot only meet the demands of users, but also improve its competitive force with its price edge.A general design of testing system, including the system of hardware and data collection based on PCI bus, is designed in this thesis. Mechanical efficiency from the start with the principle of calculation, input and output speed and torque of the test in order to calculate the mechanical efficiency, the efficiency of mechanical completion of the detection system. It can realize some physical data collection, such as torque, voltage, current, acceleration, as well. With LabVIEW as the platform, the data processing software of the testing system is complied to calculate the mechanical efficiency, show the noise and vibration, to have an immense function of data analysis, graphic display and data store. After system testing is complete, users can print statements. It has proved that the system be able to complete the testing of micro-mechanical reducer performance parameters to test through the practical application. The system has accurate testing and high accuracy. This testing system has a high precision of data collection, powerful data processing and good commonality. As a result, we may make a slight change of the system to expand the function of the instrument and render it a multi-purpose machine.The development of the system fills the blank of the domestic similar products and meets the demands of micro-reducer manufacturers, which is significant to promote the development of micro-reducer and its testing equipment.
