Smart Homenet Remote Monitoring System Based On Embedded Internet

As the Internet is becoming part of human lives and industry,all kinds of electronic products and equipments are developing towards intelligence and network.The embedded Internet technique has become one of the hotspots of embedded system development.The embedded internet technique make TCP/IP application to the embedded devices,so that the embedded devices can access to Internet.After researching the embedded system and the embedded Internet technique,this design develops an embedded smart homenet monitoring system based on TCP/IP protocol.The system adopts the internet as the transmission media between the monitoring equipment and the monitoring computer,and saves people from the special cables of traditional monitoring system,which is more expensive,less flexible and distance-limited,and provides its products with more expansibility and wider application range.This article elaborates on the realization method of the embedded monitoring system based on TCP/IP protocol on the way of both software and hardware.The system uses 32-bit ARM LPC2368 which producted by Philips as the main controller.The hardware platform consists of the Ethernet circuit which is made up of the LPC2368 internal network controller and the physical layer chip DM9161 and other IO,sensor,controllers.The software platform is made up of the simplified TCP/IP which is suitable for the embedded system and based on general TCP/IP Protocol study.These two parts formed the embedded smart homenet remote monitoring..The simplified TCP/IP stack includes Emthert driver,the Program modules of ARP Protocol,IP Protocol,ICMP Protocol,and TCP Protocol.The embedded WebSevrer of smart homenet can interact with CGI(Common Gaetway Interface) dynamically based on HTTP Protocol.So people can monitor and control the house appliance by browsers everywhere.At last,the embedded webserver and remote monitoring system are tested in Ethemet.The testing results show this system operates easily,steadly and has a bright future in both development and application.This subject has got the expected effect finally.
