In today's advanced manufacturing technology and manufacturing model, the three-dimensional trajectory scanner is a fast measuring equipment. It was widely used in the automobile and household appliance industries, as its high speed, high accuracy, ease of use and etc. The three-dimensional information of objects is enormous. When the data was transmitted, the error would be occurred in communication lines because of attenuation, distortion and noise. Therefore, the 3D trajectory scanner's communication interface must be designed to reduce errors and improve communication quality. The information should be transmitted fast, accurate, reliable and stable.In this paper, a simple and practical asynchronous serial communication control protocol was designed according to the characteristics of 3D trajectory scanner interface, requirements of data transmission and ISO/OSI reference model. First, the structure and levels of the design and functional was detailed description in the communication control protocol. Second, the physical layer, the data link layer and the transport layer was focused on the communication protocol, including the frame format, the error control and the flow control. There was a deeply study of the soft clock, CRC, and other difficult design and methods. Third, the communication protocol was implemented on TMS320F2812 DSP processor. Finally, the communication protocol was tested and analyzed simply.A number of measures was used to improve the anti-jamming capability and error correction capability of the 3D trajectory scanner interface, and ensure that the data transmission accuracy, real-time, reliability and stability.
