The paper describes an embedded hardware design of the Wireless Presentation Gateway, which sets AMD Geode GX 533 processor and CS5535 companion device as core and associates with relative function chips. The system connects via a standard VGA cable to virtually any projector or monitor. It uses 802.11g technology for fast and responsive display of presentations on monitors or onscreen via projector. Share the presentations, applications, and images on user's computer in a group without the bother of the VGA cable. It also can directly read files in various formats without using a computer, such as doc,ppt,bmp,jpg,mpeg,etc. This system has broad application foreground.At the beginning of the thesis, some background knowledge is be given which contain about the progress of embedded system and the use of wireless lan. Then, the thesis analyse the requirement of this system and the technology needed in the design, and give a design of the whole system. In the third chapter, the circuit design of each part is given which including power,clock,FLASH BIOS,DDR SDRAM,VGA and USB.In the fourth chapter, it mention about the design of high speed PCB and some principles which should be took care of.In the end, the thesis set the test environment for the design request, and provides the specific test measure. It is provided that the system can achieve the design request and can change the configurations to be used in more environments.The design of this system and the analyse of the theory make a foundation of the latter research and development, and also give a vivid example of other design of embedded system.
