When design the control module products, the designers mostly resort to the experience rather than quantitative analysis, which often conduces to the long design period and low reliability. To solve this problem, this thesis did research on the integrated design system for control module product, and developed the software system through integrating the functions of CAD/CAE. This system could assist designers to design and analysis the product with quantitative analysis results, and improved the design efficiency and quality.Firstly, a software integration method was proposed to solve the problems of the current design mode for control module products, and the current research and applications about software integration were also detailed discussed.Based on the description of the multiple-level model for software integration, this thesis established conception model for the integration system which serves the designing of control module product. Then, the architecture of the integration system was built by analyzing the objectives and functions of the system. Meanwhile, the detailed integration technologies used in the software system were chosen by analyzing their characteristics and interfaces.The relay class was designed by object-oriented method, and instantiated relay objects were controlled through responding to mouse and keyboard message. In this way, interactive layout for the components inside control module products was realized. A heuristic algorithm for layout optimization was designed by analyzing the objectives and constraints of component layout.The model import rule was built and the CAD model was imported to ANSYS in SAT format. In according to the practical working environment of control module product, its thermal analysis model and harmonic response analysis model were separately built. Meanwhile, the methods of meshing, specifying boundary conditions and loads were detailed discussed when modeling.In the last, the integrated system was developed by using VC++ 6.0. Two practical products were analyzed and the comparison between the results of the experiment and the simulation has proven that the integration system can satisfy the design requirement. Moreover, the cause of the errors was detailed presented.
