Research On CAD/CAE Interated Modeling Technology About Active Phased Array Radar Case Module

Along with the development and the application of the parameterized feature-based modeling technology, the qualitative leap has taken place in CAD/CAM. This has promoted the automatic level of manufacturing industry. However, the parameterized feature-based modeling technology is often applied in the field of structural design, has rarely been investigated in CAE. To improve the efficiency of analysis design and reduce the redundant work, it is necessary to use feature-based modeling technology in FEM, which is not only the need of finite element automatic modeling development, but also the request of CAD / CAE closely integration. This technology's research and introduction will solve the finite element analysis bottleneck problem and become the key to further develop and apply finite element analysis technology. This paper made the application of feature-based modeling technology in CAD / CAE integration modeling as the research topic, and mainly investigated some key problems as follow.The development of CAD/CAE was reviewed and summarized. The current situation of the application of feature-based modeling in FEA was analyzed. Based on this, the research focal points and main contents of this paper were established. The research goal of this paper is to probe into a series of key problems of the feature-based FEAM.This paper analyzed the deficiency of traditional analysis design; presented the design idea for fast analysis system; built module structure of fast analysis system. The feature definition in feature-based modeling technology and the general methods of feature-based modeling etc. were expatiated in detail. Based on this, the paper discussed feature information extraction technology and proposed a fast abstract simplified method based on feature. It means that on the basis of CAD modeling, the abstract simplified model formed by featured-based detail editing and dimensional reducing.The featured-based CAD / CAE integration technology was studied including the pretreatment of CAD modeling by binding analysis and structure; feature analysis geometric restructuring of in CAE; the automatic generation of the mesh based on feature and so on. The paper also took"active phased array radar fast analysis system"as an example to bring about modeling process by fast analysis.
