Sensor networks are integration of sensor techniques, nested computation techniques, distributed computation techniques and wireless communication techniques. Wireless sensor network node, composes Wireless Sensor Networks, while its design includes software design, which refers to operation design, wireless communication protocol design and application software, hardware design and collaborative design.My study, which refers to the realization of software of wireless sensor networks, is shown as follows:(1) Realization of core layer: considering to the character of Wireless Sensor Networks, which refers to extremely limited resources, intensive concurrency, high request of modular in application software lever and so on, we use lightweight thread, first in first out (FIFO), which is a task scheduling mechanism, active message communication technique, Pre-allocating space mechanism, power managing technique.(2) Realization of communication protocol stack for wireless sensor networks: S-MAC(sensor MAC) is used as our standard for Media Access Control layer. It forces the wireless sensor network node to sleep periodically to save power, using adaptive listen to minus transmitting delay, using message handing on mechanism to guarantee that the message is integrated. And we use Carrier Sense Multiple Access with Collision Avoidance (CSMA/CA) to access the media.(3) Realization of event driving mechanism: it is used to link up data collection, data processing and data transmission three relatively independent process, which transform the data from sensor to user over wireless channel.
