MDA (Model Driven Architecture) is a kind of software development architecture created by OMG (Object Management Group) aimed at loosening the connection between modeling in design step and coding in fulfill step. It's a architecture based on UML and other industry standards which supports software design and visible, storage, exchange of model. It represents a direction of software development. There is not a stable strategy to fulfill MDA. As the cost in the development and maintenance much higher than other architectures, the risk is very high in some new business domains and light weight systems to use MDA.CMS (Content Management System) is a system allow deploying a information publishing website based on a management platform. It contains a lot of excellent templates which can faster the development of the website and reduce the cost of the development. It has a lot common things with MDA. But the differences between them are obvious too. CMS has a much narrow business range, mostly to generate the information publication system. However, MDA aimed to build an architecture suitable to all model driven development. Through the comparison between the them and analyze the rationality of them, we can get a prediction to the tendency of the future of the modal driven architecture.This thesis focus on the exploration of the fulfill strategy through the development of CMS and the deployment of Hubei Static Information Website. This subject aimed at finding a strategy to do model driven development for light weight system and some solutions of problems exist in model driven development. The main method used is the comparison between the practice of CMS development and the theory of MDA. According to the study of this subject, the main progress is the raising of the two layer developing model and discussions to problems existing in model driven development.The key point of this thesis is explaining the fulfill process, used technologies of CMS and the advantage, effect of designing system with model driven development method.
