| The requirement of graphics user interface is ermerging in embedded application, and then embedded system oriented GUI framework turns to popular. But most of current popular embedded system oriendted GUI frame has problems, high running overhead and unportable. After investigate and analyze current framework's characteristics, this article presents a light-weight and portable embedded system oriented GUI frame– LGUI.This article give detail description about this frame from introduction of embedded system GUI,LGUI architecture,LGUI main components and an application example for DVD recorder.In the introduction of embedded system GUI, it describes main characteristics of embedded system and graphics user interface. Also it gives a simple introduction for current popular embedded system oritented GUI framework, and present their advantage and shortcoming.In LGUI architecture, it gives basic description for light-weight and portable LGUI, which includes LGUI development background,design thinking,architecture and so on. The description from design thinking and architecture helps to understand LGUI's light weight and portable. In succedent parts of article, it describes main componenets of LGUI in detail, where it also introduces other characteristics of LGUI.LGUI framework had been used into a DVD recorder project, which accerlates development cycle of this project. It is necessary part of this DVD project's success. Because of its lightweight and portable, it has been used in other cross-platform project. |
