Analysis On The Application Of Creativity In Pattern Design

Pattern Design is an important area of modern art design which means all patterns, graphics and even symbols conveying information which can rise a visual sense of beauty in designer's opinion, two dimensional or three-dimensional. It's decorative design which has requirements for materials, production processes, aesthetic features and other integrated conditions, an artistic expression combined decorative and practicality. Innovation is the driving force for the development of pattern design. The study on innovative methods is of significance important for pattern design.Pattern design in the new era is not and should not be the simple change of graphics. It should include many other factors. Only the effective communication with formal beauty, novel content, lively performance and rich connotation can be called the design of times. The thesis illustrates the basic methods for innovative design from the aspects of the material, techniques and principles of design on the basis of innovative thinking of design and discusses the innovative design of patterns in the light of traditional culture, modern science and technology, market demand and personal style. Meanwhile the thesis analyzes the usage of innovation in the pattern design with the example of pattern creative design based on digital technology combining a large number of design works.
