The Design And Realization Of Educational Administration Management System Of Jilin Agriculture Engineering Polytechnic College

With the advent of knowledge economy, human beings gradually entered into the information society. The development of computer technology is already changing the traditional education management pattern. On the other hand, the further reform of higher education and enrollment expansion of colleges has brought the unprecedented challenge to university's educational administration branch. The workload of educational administrator is increasing significantly. To deal with the problem, develop an educational administration management system is preferred and effective method. According to the actual situation of JiLin Agriculture Engineering Polytechnic College, an educational administration system based on the B/S structure was introduced in this paper.The educational administration system of JiLin Agriculture Engineering Polytechnic College is an educational management system which is adopting three level structures and basing on the B/S pattern, namely three distributed structures is adopted: browser-Web server-database server. B/S pattern is an Improvement on the traditional C/S structure test system. In the B/S structure test system, the client only needs to install browsers, does not need to install additional client's application procedure. The goal of constructing the educational administration system is to enhance the teaching management efficiency and the resources sharing extend. This system adopts B/S structural model, breaking away from the dependence on the client existed in C/S model, enhancing the availability of reusing and transportable of the system and easy to maintenance and expansion in the future.An educational administration system and its subsystem used in Jilin Agriculture Engineering Polytechnic College are designed and realized in the paper. It is composite of landing module,student module,teacher module,teaching administrator module,system administrator module and module of test on line.The landing module is designed to implement main functions as follows: (1) Inputting a student's account number and the password, then the page of student management will be introduced. (2) Inputting a teacher's account number and the password, then the page of teacher management will be introduced. (3) Inputting a teaching administrator's account number and the password, then corresponding page of teaching administrator will be introduced. (4) Inputting a system administrator's account number and the password, then corresponding page of system administrator will be introduced.The student module is designed to implement main functions as follows: (1) Show and modify oneself information. (2) Show chose compulsory and elective courses. (3)Show oneself score of compulsory and elective courses.The teacher module is designed to implement main functions as follows: (1) Show and modify oneself information. (2) Show his student's information. (3) Show compulsory and elective courses which he taught. (4) Show his courses arrangement information. (5) Increase the examination questions to examination question database of compulsory and elective courses which he taught. (6) Modify the examination questions of compulsory and elective courses which he taught.The teaching administrator module is designed to implement main functions as follows: (1) Manage all the teachers and all students'information. (2) Manage all compulsory and elective courses. (3) Automatic course scheduling.The module of Course Schedule is designed to implement main functions as follows: (1) Show all already scheduled curricula. (2) Submit all pending curricula. (3) Automatic course scheduling.The system administrator module is designed to implement main functions as follows: managing teaching manager,the campus BBS manager and the librarian.The system administrator module is designed to implement main functions as follows: compulsory and elective course tests.This system mainly adopt the test method of combination the white box and the black box, and the system integration test method which is from the top to the bottom of major subsystem have been executed. Namely the test system begin with the main control module which is landing module in this paper, moves gradually downward along the control structure, gradually testing each module of the system.In conclusion, educational administration system is becoming the development trend of future education system, the system established in the paper has obtained certain of results, but some disfigurement is still existed. We will unceasingly consummate it so as to make it more perfectly.
