| In recent years,the diversity of university courses helps students to have more opportunities than ever to explore different domains of knowledge.Although there are a wide variety of courses,the interaction between teachers and students is limited due to different kinds of factors.This paper designed and implemented an interactive teaching system,based on the B/S architecture with Python programming language,Flask Web framework and MySQL database.It aims to provide teachers and students with further communication after class,to facilitate academic discussion,and to provide a platform to improve teaching quality for teaching institutes.Based on an extensive literature review,this paper starts with an introduction on the basic concepts in teaching interactions.A survey is conducted to understand the current research status both in China and foreign countries,laying the foundation for an effective analysis about the purpose and impact of an interactive teaching system.Next,the important processes and techniques applied in this teaching system are elaborated: detailed discussion with teaching institutes as well as relevant management departments,macro-level requirement analysis of the teaching system,micro-level requirement analysis of university courses,designing the holistic architecture of the teaching system,designing and testing user test cases,and employing ETL tools for data cleaning and transforming so as to import data from heterogeneous databases to this teaching system.After the elaboration of the design of the teaching system,the implementation details and relevant important codes for different modules in the system are provided,followed by the deployment instructions on the configurations of system environment.Last but not least,in the last chapter,we summarized the design and implement of this interactive teaching system,explained the limitations of this teaching system,and suggested several directions for future development. |
