In recent years,with the application of all-digital seismic,high-density seismic,and non-vertical seismic exploration of new technologies,the amount of the seismic data has been greatly increased. The differences between the seismic data and the other data from the oil industry area are that,the amount of data is very huge and the type of data is very complex. Therefore,the management of such data requires not only highly efficient and stable data management system,but also high-performance,high-capacity storage devices.At present,the seismic database platform of Changqing Oilfield is based on Schlumberger Expeditor management system. This software is installed under UNIX system,which is utilized in oilfield production. It uses the different network segment from desktop computers which could not be connected to access seismic database. For the past years,users have been accustomed to the application of simple windows system to operate data,query data and manage data,but the UNIX/ Solaris system platform,for its security and stability characteristics,is used by key business. Therefore,for the development of the existing seismic database system interface program,the main contents of dissertation include two parts. First,develop the interface programs for the seismic database system. Second,set up the communication mechanism between windows and UNIX,for the purpose of integrating the resources and exploiting their own strengths,are the main contents of this dissertation.The interface program design mainly includes three aspects. First , an interconnect technology is set up in order to realize the virtual connection between the disk arrays and personal computers,through the computer operating system directly accessing to the workstation disk data. Second,to develop control bars is to realize query the basic information of Expeditor seismic line professional database dynamically. Third,write code to call third-party programs,view any section of seismic line storage via the IE browser. In program design process,the application of interconnect technology Samba set up a communication bridge between Windows and Unix systems,which realize seismic data query and the profiles show based on Web. Interface program design for users are based on desktop computers of non-limited uses of Chinese platform,which combine the large disk storage system with the personal microcomputers. It shields the Operating procedures of seismic professional database and the limited license,improving the work efficiency to some extent. At present,the system has been widely applied in science production.
