| MPLS (Multiprotocol Label Switching) presented by IETF is the new generation of IP backbone network standard. The short and constant length label is employed for packing and grouping. MPLS is supported by route protocol and control protocol. It also supports restriction route based on the strategy, which provides powerful and flexible route functions. It satisfies various application requirements of the network. In the Internet service for the special net line, MPLS VPN has many advantages: big net width, high reliability, simple and flexible network distribution, low investment, etc. It is regarded as the direction of the foundation core of future multi-services by many telecom carriers.This thesis has designed a kind of big net width data line for the service of data transmission based on wideband Metropolitan Area Network(MAN)'s MPLS VPN technology. Using current MAN equipment, the routers of telecom carriers' MPLS network is built by installing the models for the switch on the core network. The IP address overlap between consumers which may lead some sites not reachable is avoided by the introduction of router distinguisher and router target.Based on MPLS technology, the router of ZTE company T64E is considered as the provider router, the T32C as the provider edge router, and the T16C as the consumer edge router. As an example of data leased line between a department and its branches is given. Since the dedicated line employed the fast reroute technology, it protects the private line operation and makes the fault alternative time less than 50ms.The broadband Metropolitan Area Network designed and realized in the thesis also supports MPLS technology based on layer 2 and layer 3. It is a solution to the need of access to internet of some average and special customers in the field of finance and realized the difference of service to meet the need of customers in every field. It is a technical safe guard for Shenyang Unicom on the market competition of the leased line. |
