In the past 40 years, the development methods of application software have changed many times: procedure-oriented development, object-oriented development, component-oriented development and service-oriented development. To become more competitive, enterprises must establish a business-oriented, reliable service-oriented architecture (SOA), which is used as a substitute for a decentralized platform. Therefore, SOA has gradually become an architecture that suits for modern enterprise. For an example, we can connect the communication service based on SOA and the transformation of original payment system together to do some research. For it has so many features of SOA—loose coupling, non-state, findable, autonomous, abstract, assemble, reuse, etc., it can bring great competitive strength to enterprise. Then we can integrate the communication service with the whole system. The difference between SOA and traditional development is the former is business driven and the latter is IT driven. Business-driven development refers to the development is driven by business. Starting with business analysis, design, development and test are all business driven. And wiring and deploy the services. We take the CRM as example, using the concept of SOA and ESB. First of all, we analyze the requirement of the CRM and achieve the goals need to be meet. Then we explained how the service can be assembled and deployed. At last the overall design principles and ideas are discribed, and the CRM design is discribed in detail and lead to its concrete realization. We provided the abundant functions with samples, which are able to not only meet the current requirements but also meet the extensive requirements in future. We have proved the availability of the process of development and SOA general principle. At the end, we indicate the shortcoming and future work of this paper.
