With the environmtental requirement more and more high in some special fields,the real-time observation of the environmental parameters becomes a big problem.In this thesis,the corresponding realizable scheme is put forward to solve the problem in practice. This system,including the part of data collection in wire or wireless multi-channels,the main control platform of the embedded operaton system based on ARM,the data-transfering channel based on Ethernet,the data-processing system,the database,and the friendly interface for the users in the upper computer,is a software and hardware platform with the ability of collecting and transfering the data. The environmental parameters including the temperature and humidity at any node can be obtained using the control platform of the embedded operation system according to the users'requirement.Thus the real-time situation of the environment observed can be controled conveniently.With the data management at the upper computer,it is convenient to do long-distance control and get familiar with the condition of environment observed at any time,even at other places.The data collection in wire channels requires complicated distributions of the channels,which always needs destroy the buildings and causes waste.However many of the buildings are not allowed to be modified,so the data collection in wire channels is unrealizable.To solve this problem,the wireless sensor network based on the protocole IEEE802.15.4 is used in this application to collect and transfer the environmental parameters.IEEE802.15.4 suits the low-rate wireless personal area network(LR-WPAN),which is characterized by low energy comsuption,the low transmition rate, and the low cost. The emphases of the thesis are the design and research of the wireless personal area network module.
