The flight simulation system is the essential technical equipment for the modern aviation scientific research,teaching,testing and so on. It has very high economic value and military value in research on flight performance,training and other areas.Firstly, this article analyzes the flight simulation system's characteristic, carries on the analysis to its application demand, and completes the plan and design of a display scene platform. Based on the study of OpenGL,Vega and other typical scene platform, a flight simulation display system with basic functions using OSG graphic scene library is developed. At the same time, the helmet vision display system and stereo vision display system are realized in the OSG platform, using the laboratory existing resources, such as the helmet display and projector. The flight simulation system scene modeling is the foundation of display. The highly effective modeling method not only saves the modeling time, but also enhances the realistic and real-time of the scene display. Therefore, the research on the three-dimensional modeling techniques and composition of model structure is done, based on the request to the modeling technology.In the end, based on the OSG graphic library, with object-oriented technology, the source code of flight simulation system scene platform prototype is implemented. The result indicates that this system is better at the real-time rendering and the immersion feeling. It will have an important value in the support platform of the aircraft design and flight simulation training systems.
