Research On OD Flow Fitting Technology Based On Highway Toll Information

As a necessary step to improve traffic forecasting accuracy, OD flow fitting is a fundamental work to validate trip distribution matrix and traffic model.On the basis of the research of domestic and international OD data processing technique and steps,this paper analysised advantages and defects of highway toll information, found a OD flow fitting system based on it and researched on optimization of some key methods and models.Firstly, a method as link section OD analysis was put forward to adjust abnormal samples of raw survey data; secondly, a method based on traffic information through entrance and exit and a multi-regression analysis model were used to solve the mismatch problem between toll traffic information and standard model; thirdly, a new method was put forward to get base OD matrix for OD matrix estimation based on highway toll information using ME model; additionally, highway impedance function was researched and two different methods were used to calibrate the parameters of BPR function. Finally, the theories and methods mentioned in the paper above were put into practices by using Shi-Ye highway corridor OD investigation data. The result indicated that the above methods can get expected effect.
