Research And Realization Of The Highway Tunnel Vision Simulation

VR (Virtual Reality) is the simulation of turning people's imagination and thought into another kind of realm. By establishing a virtual world and environment,it makes people create immersive experience through looking,listening and touching, and produce the feeling on the spot in person. The virtual reality technological application is expanded to highway tunnel field, which open up a new way for designing and researching safety management of highway tunnel. It is according to the characteristics of virtual reality technology and less used in three-dimension simulate in highway tunnel ,this thesis use three-dimensional modeling software and simulate platform which based on virtual reality technology, to realize an intact software system of highway tunnel vision simulation.At first, this thesis introduces the virtual reality technology of its current situation that is used at home and abroad, it discusses the key technology and design plan of the tunnel vision simulation software of the highway; because of the actual demand of software development, this thesis carries on a stress research in characteristic, composition, key technology which are relevant to virtual reality technology. Based on the analyzing of the system demand, it has set up the basic structure of the system, and makes definite 0main functions such as scene roaming,equipment information examining,traffic demonstrating and the air blower controlling, and proposes the overall design plan of the system; taking the Zhongnan Mountains of Qinling as an example, this software makes use of 3DSMAX modeling software and VRP platform to realize the tunnel vision simulation systems of the highway, and in this thesis ,it gives us the detailed process description of creating model,texture mapping,mental ray and VRP compilation about system designing and exploitation ,which includes the module to the scene roam,equipment information examining,traffic demonstrating and air blower controlling.It is an important characteristic in this thesis that using VR technology to realize the reappearance of tunnel, at the same time, applying the equipment information examining and demonstrating the traffic control tactic to this system. Therefore, it fully reflects the virtual reality technology feasibility and importance in the highway tunnel safety operation and management.
