Rapid Modeling Based On Virtual Reality Technology

The concept of "digital city" is presented by the vice President Al Gore in1998, which is based on computer technology, multimedia technology and mass storage technology, It is using information technology to the city’s past, present and future of all on the network of digital virtual realization."Digital city" can put every corner of the modern city of information into collection, sorting, induction, and according to the geographic coordinates to establish a complete information model, then combine them by using the network, thus we can understand of the present situation of the city rapidly and completely.It is too difficult to structure the virtual scene based on VRML language. VRML language writing is more complex, thus to find a convenient and rapid method is very necessary. Through the original single model and combined with the coordinate system to solve the problems can improves the speed of the model also simplifies the modeling process, the experimental results show that this method is feasible, it provides a new method for quickly building model of the virtual scene building.First of all, on the basis of VRML technology, in view of the virtual scene building, analyzes the hierarchical relationships between nodes, this paper studies the quadratic modeling method and the method of how to optimize the object in the scene, the purpose is to overcome contradictions between the sense of reality and the complexity in the virtual scene, ensure fluency browsing scenarios. Secondly, in view of the construction model of the real degree of contradiction and complexity of the proposed secondary modeling method; Secondly, studied the built-in sensor nodes based on VRML programming, interactive way; Using VRML program interface interaction method. Finally, based on the above technology, to produce a quick modeling system.
