This paper summarizes the situation of design and analysis of large mesh reflector, introduces the mesh surface shaping technique and mesh surface weaving method through consulting a lot of information. Based on it, then surface shaping analysis of a special kind of mesh antenna is operated after adopting one of the mesh surface shaping and optimization method; one mesh unit of the mesh antenna and the whole antenna are worked out to validate the method this paper used; At last electric performance of the mesh reflector antenna under perfect paraboloid surface and distorted surface is calculated respectively, and several kinds of influence under different surface distortion situations are discussed. That can provide some reference for mesh surface shaping design of mesh reflector antenna.Firstly finite element model of the mesh reflector antenna is created, then proper mesh surface shaping and optimization method are chosen, surface shaping and optimization calculation focused on the mesh element and the whole mesh reflector antenna are done, then the final result is acquired.Secondly real models of the mesh unit and the whole mesh antenna are created, then shaping stress according calculation result is pressed on, finally the shaped mesh reflector antenna is obtained. The Root Mean Square of real mesh antenna is calculated, and this value is compared to the value that is simulated by software, so the validity of the shaping and optimization method cited by this paper is validated to be correct.At last electric performance of the mesh reflector antenna under perfect paraboloid surface is calculated, potential surface distortion situations are analyzed and discussed, then electric performance of the mesh reflector antenna under these situations are calculated separately.A mesh surface shaping method is studied in this paper through structural and electromagnetic analysis of large mesh reflector antenna, electric performance of the antenna under perfect surface and distorted surface situation is calculated respectively, which provide some reference for design and research of mesh reflector antenna.
