Because of its operation-oriented, a unified and integrated data environment which support policy-analysis through multi-angle and multi-level rapid inquiry does been hope to have.This thesis comprehensively illustrates the significance of the construction of data warehouse for Life Insurance Company mainly through the analysis of actual business of the company. It also comprehensively illustrates the basis knowledge of data warehouse and its application status in Life Insurance Industry, at home and abroad. Against the actual business condition of a branch of Life Insurance Company, it determines the objective the system will to achieve and structure of data warehouse. It also determines the design direction of dimension system, fact sheet and dada model, through the analysis of subject territory and realize the design of life insurance data warehouse. Besides, this programmer of data extraction to achieve data load. It also comprehensively illustrates kinds of problems which may occur in data loading and transformation.
