This dissertation designs the display and control software for the Underwater Target Tracking System Reconstructing project. The Underwater Target Tracking System is a long baseline acoustic tracking and positioning system based on wireless remote control buoy arrays, and can measure multiple underwater targets synchronously. A real-time tracking system will be realized with lager scale and higher precision after reconstruction.The system consists of buoy subsystem, wireless communication link, display and control subsystem and several auxiliary equipments such as target simulator. The display and control subsystem is the calculating and control center of the whole system, and responsible for position calculating, trajectory display, buoy remote control and array shape design. The reconstructed display and control subsystem will be improved significantly on the array shape design, calculation and display mode, expert system, sound velocity correction, interfaces, modularization, friendly display interface, reliability and etc.The display and control software on demand of reconstruction is designed using some functional modules of original system for reference. It has the following characteristics:1. Change the original system calculating mode of stand-alone and artificial-selection to parallel master and slave. The synchronous ("spherical convergence" method) and asynchronous ("hyperbolical join" method) methods are employed for trajectory calculating and display.2. Improve the interface mode. USB multi-threaded real-time asynchronous communication is used between computer and base station. Network communication is used between master computer and the slave.3. Has the ability of evaluating the tracking precision and optimizing the array shape design.4. Add such functions as original data reading, saving and displaying, setting buoy processing parameters on the spot, and a perfect help system.5. Has the ability of remote control, system monitoring and computing to more buoys (up to 24 buoys), and increase the measure range.6. Adopt the modular design idea with modules independent, the software reliability enhanced, and the software interface more friendly, attractive and easy to operate.With the lake experiment, the display and control software is validated as competent, stable and suitable for application. The system will be delivered to user.
