Along with the high-speed development of computer and network technology, data acquisition system has developed from the traditional circuits and computer models to the embedded system model. Embedded system plays an irreplaceable role in the modern industrial data acquisition systems.The main content of this paper is to use the S3C2410A which is one of ARM9 processor to design a set of embedded data acquisition system. Since the majority of industrial environmental constraints, it requires the acquisition system with large capacity storage and wireless network. So this paper uses the S3C2410A as the core, assisted with an FPGA and a CS8900A to design the hardware of system. The part of the analogy has two analogy channels, which are composed by A/D convert circuit and variable gain amplifiers. System also achieved SD storage cards, as well as various interface functions such as serial and JTAG interface.In the part of software, this paper achieves the Linux operation system transplanted to the platform. There parts are discussed: Bootloader transplant, Linux kernel transplant and root file system establishment. It has also completed the drivers of A/D converter, SD card and CS8900A under Linux system. Finally, it designs the data acquisition, storage and transmission procedures.In the process of debugging and experiment, it can achieve the basic functions of the various parts, but there are also some shortage problems. Finally, the paper gives some views about the deficiencies, and proposes prospects to the further research about the system.
