Design And Realization Of Measurement And Control System Based On CPCI Process Control Device

With the development of science and technology, there have been increasingly demands for measurement and control (M&C) technique. Due to limited functions and big size, traditional electronic equipment is no longer suited for practical application. In contrast, the computer M&C technique has extended to more fields than ever. With the prevalence and rocketing development of personal computers (PC), the best of PC's operation,storage and display ability, lower the cost, increase the instrument flexibility and data processing ability. So VI is a better choice for research and practice work.In this paper, the direction of domestic and abroad computer M&C system is summarized briefly. The scheme design,choice of hardware and development of software of XXX M&C system are introduced, the system structure and each part's functions are analyzed also. In our system, control host computer,Multi-function DAS Cards and cabinet in local control is ADLINK^?'s CPCI bus series products (e.g. CPCI ), which CPCI bus is compatible to PCI bus with compact feature and a bus interface standard which is put forward by PICMG Institute in 1994. The Operation system is WINDOWS 2000 and Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 is used to develop the applied software which included the control and analysis parts. The mostly flow chart of control and analysis software,control process and the key process of program design are provided too. At last we debugged each part and total M&C system.The lab test has been conducted for the M&C system and the general test has been also done in the first stage experiment. The result shows that the system is reliable and feasible, and the predicted requirement through the general test can be met.
