Appliment And Research Of Database In Configuration Software

The direction of supervisor and control system in transformer substation is synthesis automatization, whose characteristic is distributed, multifunction, high reliability and manages data of large number. As configuration software is an important part of supervisor and control system. So it has to advance its function and capability. Using Database to manage the data of configuration software, the share degree of the data was enhanced, the data's unreasonable redundancy was throw off, and the data was relatively and has upper independence. The function of the database decides the capability of configuration software directly.Base on the practical requirement of configuration software of supervisor and control system in transformer substation. This paper designed the scheme by using programmer module design method. In the VC++ 6.0 environment, developed the database system in supervisor and control configuration software.Firstly, this paper analyzed the data structure of the configuration software. Divided the data into configuration data and real-time data, presented the design scheme of the database system. Then, this paper designed and developed the configuration database and real-time database. It designed the structure of the database to store configuration data, and developed the programmer module to access configuration database. And it was added into the supervisor and control configuration software as a self-governed module. It also introduces the Real-Time Database technique and using it to design and develop the Real-Time Database of the supervisor and control configuration software. Because the real-time data is of great number, this paper designed a corresponding database structure. And a method to store data of great number was designed and realized. Finally, this paper analyzed the relation of history data and real-time data, and developed the programmer module to query history data and using history data to make curve and report forms.The Database system used in this paper is MySQL, which is the most popular free DBMS. It can be used freely, and its most outstanding specialty is the speed of manage data. The database which was developed in this paper has been tested strictly and been applied to the supervisor and control configuration software in transformer substation. It run steady and credible, and advanced the configuration software's capability in a certain extent. Naturally, there is some shortages need to be improved.
