Reliable Multicast is a hotspot and nodus to the multicast research present. As there is much more difference in demand of data transport by different multicast application, none of multicast protocol could fit all the condition. The scalable reliable multicast protocol suggested in this paper is designed and realized. which is based on the characteristic and needs of the White Board.Thinking about the special characteristic of White Board, we choose detecting of drop packet which is based on receiver-based, the interval of serial number, and the interval of timer mode, and recovery of the drop packet which is based on receiver-based, multicast NACK mode after we compare most of the mechanism present. Since the mechanisms we chosen before could not sure reliability in communication completely, we also design a controlled packet– session message– to guarantee the last packet the source sent received by receivers. After that we expatiate on the principle and flow of the protocol, and all the format of packets. At the end of this paper, we also expatiate on the reliability of the whole protocol and some details.
