DECT telecommunication protocol, as an enhanced wireless telecommunication standard, is as the sole one listed into IMT-2000 (3G) by ETSI. With the rapid development of telecommunication technology, and the up-gradation of people's requirement of telecommunication business, telecommunication technology for personal using is now becoming an important branch of telecommunication. Typically it is outstanding research for wireless telecommunication.Based on the design and realization of DECT, the paper studies of the whole-set software and hardware design to fulfill the requirement of audio telecommunication and other data communication. Firstly, the paper analyses the delaminated mode of interface agreement in 2.4GHz DECT system, including the conception and approach for each agreements. For hardware design, the cost-effective US Natinal Semiconductor Chipset is adopted. For software realization, the concept of multi-mission control system is cited to deal with multi missions by real time operating system. Then the paper emphasis on the design approach to SDL Language, Based the idea to expand finite state machine, it present in details all the data structures needed to realize the Call Control protocol at the NWK layer, status transferring charts, and some important processes which are linking establishment, timer management, receiving and transmitting high layer traffic data.Which studies an effective method for DECT communication protocl designing, and modeling.The paper provides a reference of an effective approach for the development ofDECT related products.
