The Research On The Technique Of UWB Penetrating System

The object of this paper is to research the technique of UWB penetrating system. Firstly, it introduces the basic principle of UWB penetrating radar system, mainly including the detecting targets and environments of UWB penetrating radar, impulse radar, the equation of UWB radar, the design of impulse system of UWB penetrating radar, the relation between the performance of penetration and resolution, the analysis of electromagnetic wave transmit or dispersion in dielectric.Aiming at the echo data signal processing of UWB penetrating radar in close quarters and shallow layer applications, this paper introduces a method for clutter reduction based on the image processing technique in detailed. Then a new method for clutter reduction is proposed from the aspect of energy and mathematic characteristic. Through the results of data processing, we can prove the method for clutter reduction based on the energy and mathematics characteristic of echo data can effectively decrease the data operation. In addition, a method of wave velocity measurement based on Hough transform is mainly introduced. Then the improvement of the method is proposed. The results show that the method of improvement can measure the wave velocity more correctly.
