The main mission of this subject is to research and accomplish a digital signal process algorithm of Carrier-Free Pulse Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) . The function of this algorithm includes two parts: first, bring the radar echo data into Clutter Reduction operation; second, bring the data after Clutter Reduction into Synthetic Aperture operation in order to improve the image resolution. In this thesis, at first introduce the general principle of GPR, next analyze the signal model of GPR and also declare the signal process theories used in this thesis and at last accomplish the Clutter Reduction and Synthetic Aperture algorithm program using MATLAB and also identify the algorithm program through the simulation of two groups of actual measurement data. What I have done in this subject include:1. Consult the reference about GPR and appreciate the general theory of GPR;2. Analyze the signal model of Carrier-Free Pulse Ground Penetrating Radar and the feature of each part of radar echo data.3. Research and accomplish the signal process algorithm program, that includes Clutter Reduction algorithm and Synthetic Aperture algorithm.4. Make simulation of actual measurement data, identify the effect of algorithm and analyze the simulation result.
